AGREEMENT MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT& SAILD
The Ministry of Transport and the Support Service for Local Development Initiatives signed a framework collaboration agreement for the promotion, exchange of data and dissemination of agrometeorological information to farmers.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Support Service for Local Development Initiatives signed an agreement to promote agroecology in Cameroon on December 29, 2023 in Yaounde.

It directs its actions towards the emergence of peasant socio-economic forces, to rebalance social forces in favour of peasants.

Managing natural resources
One of SAILD's priorities is the management of natural resources. Cameroon's localities are overflowing with important resources which, should enable local development and the well-being of local village communities.
Food security and nutrition
This is one of the fundamental themes determining the deployment of the SAILD [...]. because a significant proportion of the population in rural areas still suffers from food insufficiency.
Rural communication
The aim of this programme is to popularise and even democratise information, especially that which supports vulnerable groups in their socio-cultural and economic development.
