REPAC works to integrate agroecology into NDC

In addition, the evaluation of the network’s associative life revealed a considerable level of involvement “REPAC took part in several activities with external players. It was chosen by Cameroon’s Ministry of Forests and Wildlife to map cocoa orchards. There’s recognition,” he says. REPAC’s action plan for 2025 has also been drawn up, notably through the drafting of its internal regulations, the constitution of two ad hoc committees and the strengthening of the activities of its working groups.

The final day was devoted to discussions on how to integrate agroecology into the revised National Determined Contribution (NDC). Group work held for this purpose led to the identification of points where agroecology could be highlighted in the document. As a result of this process, civil society in Cameroon, through REPAC, is due to submit a document to the Ministry of the Environment at outlining possible solutions for integrating agroecology into the NDC.
