The 9th China Conference on Global Timber Trade was held from 7 to 8 September 2019 in Chongqing, China. SAILD was involved with the objective of understanding the private timber sector in China and creating opportunities for wood from community forests engaged in the community-based verification system for legality of timber. The meeting was organized by the China Timber and Wood Products Distribution Association (CTWPDA) with the collaboration of TRAFFIC Central Africa and China.
